@KuleRucket LOL hell yes!!
Sounds like Sean Connery with a slight falter. Better technical detail than most truing videos on YT.
Fantastic record. To the point and brilliant quality. Beats the guy outside near a freeway/motorway.
+1
Very informative record! This is what I looked-for to know for using the Spin Doctor truing stand that I just ordered. Thank you!
YOU CAN ALSO USE BRAKE PADS OR ZIPTIES AS A REFERENCE
is that the spin doctor truing stand?
@originalMOON3R Yes you can do that, btw sorry for the delay in answering your question, I looked-for to update some account settings.
can you use a screw driver on the screws on the rim? some previous guy that i baught the rim off stripped the spoke nipples so its impossible to use a spoke wrench
Hey excellent win for Holland today!
@martin04409 If the wheel dips down you’re gonna nead to loosen both sides.
where can i get those tools?
you might want to adjust the hub bearings to help prevent hub play, also right and left should be refered to as drive side or non drive side (if a rear wheel)
same here i adjust mine also on the bike, still using v-brake system , i used that as reference
Nice record ! Thanks!
i was thinking to throw my rear wheel away, but someday i need to learn how to fix a rim, thx for the record, very pro, gonna try it tomorrow
Thank for this. I’ve just sorted out a wobbly wheel. The wheel was on the bike and I used the end of cable ties as the pointer against the rim. The white paper was a excellent tip.
Fantastic record!!! Professional!!
truest record I’ve seen to date, thanks a million.
i just built my first wheel but instead of the rim going side to side like in this record, it goes up and down. do i need to loosen the whole of one side slightly and tighten the whole of the other slightly?
much clearer than others I’ve seen, very helpful, thanx!!
super helpful that 3 minutes record clarified more than the 4 15 minutes videos i just watched.
Very helpfull, I’m a goo try it
your own bike, you can use the brake arms, if you have V-brakes
fantastic record very helpful
but whats the best business to use if you dont have a stand to sit the wheel on?
